Currently, we are seeking a Solution Engineer Specialist for one of our biggest clients, that is a global leader in technical innovation for aerospace security and defense. In the age of digitalization, they are transforming security standards at airports nationwide. Role: Solutions Engineer Specialist Key responsibilities: Provide expert technical support skills to enhance operational performance and productivity at airport Identity Control Portals. Implement action plans based on analytical data to address recommendations and improvements in access control and security systems. Offer technical guidance and training to client operators in the efficient use of biometric technology and digitized security systems within airport environments. Produce detailed technical documentation to enhance operational efficiency and facilitate learning for airport staff. Perform hardware maintenance and installation, including POS terminals, surveillance cameras, and biometric devices used for access control and security purposes. Lead the resolution of complex issues at both software and hardware levels. Validate new software versions and prepare them for integration into production, ensuring system stability and security within airport environments. Share experiences and knowledge with the level 2 engineering team across Europe to improve work practices and overall performance in airport security solutions. Conduct independent research to identify innovative techniques and new technologies that can enhance security and efficiency in airport access control systems. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or similar field. Demonstrable experience in level 2 technical support, preferably in security and access control systems. Advanced knowledge of Windows servers, log diagnostics, databases, and networks. Experience in hardware installation and maintenance, especially biometric devices and security systems used in airport environments. ITIL Foundation certification is highly desirable. Fluent in English, both spoken and written. Ability to travel throughout Spain. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in both software and hardware aspects. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels. Experience in leading technical teams and coordinating activities in airport security and access control solutions.
