For our specialized team, we are looking for Java FullStack Engineer (focus backend), with at least 6 years of experience in the position. About the Role Work together in a cross functional team using agile methodologies as part of a DevOps centric model. Design, implement, deploy, release and monitor your team's applications, take part on pull request reviews. Understand business needs by working together with your colleagues Take part of planning and feature refinement sessions together with your team. Together with Solution Architects design software solutions that are aligned to our overall architecture vision. Actively take part on our Software Engineering communities, sharing your knowledge and helping others. Work location: Madrid (Spain) Work mode: Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days remote) (You´ll choose which days) Candidate Profile To be an expert in both frontend and backend domains. We understand we all have our specialties and preferences, so we don't expect you to be as much as an expert on React than Spring boot backend, but we expect that you are open to work in both domains when required, but still keeping your focus on either frontend or backend. Proven delivery experience in Software Engineering using industry standards such as test oriented development using TDD and BDD. Understanding of DevOps concepts such as CI/CD and the importance and value of automated testing. Design, implement, and test front-end systems, ensuring they meet functional and non-functional requirements, including usability and accessibility standards. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the overall code quality, following best practices and coding standards. Collaborate with senior developers and designers to ensure alignment with the overall design and architecture vision of the organization. Candidate Profile Solid understanding of front-end development principles, including HTML5, CSS3 (e.g., Flexbox), and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React). Experience with front-end build tools, such as Vite or Webpack, and version control systems (e.g., Git). Familiarity with back-end technologies, including RESTful APIs and JSON data formats, is a plus. Strong understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
