At ISS we are looking for a Senior Database Administrator in Barcelona specialising in Oracle and Automations, You will join a Systems and DB team working for a multinational client, in a hybrid role in Barcelona, working 100% in English. We are looking for a professional with more than 10 years of experience, with the following main functions: You will work within a global AUTOMATION team on tasks such as installation, patching, stop&start migration, backup, etc. You will work on the Consolidation of metrics and dashboards. Collaborate in the Transition to the public cloud Additionally you will support Oracle and SQL database servers in the EMEA region (incidents, changes, migrations, DRP), troubleshooting, support.... We are looking for a professional: Trained in Oracle DB, with certifications highly valued. 10 years minimum experience in similar role, Level 3. 10 years of experience in Oracle Admin. Environments: Active: SQL Server, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Hadoop and Clustering. Experience in Automation. Very valuable to have worked in environments such as Hadoop Next. Autonomy in work Availability for on-call if necessary. Fluent written and spoken English TECHNICAL SKILLS: ORACLE RAC- Backup / cloning / migration : DATAPUMP,RMAN- DRP: Dataguard. Replication tools (GoldenGate, Dataguard). Linux: Red Hat. Monitoring: Nagios / OEM / Dynatrace / Sitescope / Prometheus. Automation skills: development/scripting skills (Python, Java, Powershell).
