We are looking to hire a Linux Engineer to join as a European Linux Architect Cloud/On premise You will be integrated into the Aerospace sector, working within a European Systems Architecture Department (100% remote), collaborating with teams across multiple countries. The role involves working with large-scale environments, multiple Linux distributions, and both on-premise and cloud infrastructures. You will primarily work with Red Hat Linux in high-volume environments and interact daily in English within an international context. Key Responsibilities Act as a technical reference for interpreting business needs into functional and technical solutions within a team of ~20 European Architects. Participate in a 2 weeks onboarding program (unless you already have experience in the sector). Conduct technical analysis of existing systems, propose evolution and migration strategies, and design architectural solutions. Align technical architecture with client security standards and operational constraints. Ensure the availability and performance of the designed architecture according to service level requirements. You will also: Contribute to the design of new architectures and redesign of existing systems and mainly Review and check all architectures proposals from Europe. Collaborate with the European architecture team to ensure alignment and consistency. Define and promote best practices and technical documentation. Generate KPIs and propose improvements. Participate in technology selection and innovation initiatives. Produce documentation for engineering teams. Candidate Profile Degree in Computer Engineering or similar. 10+ years of professional experience, with at least 3 years as an Architect. Proven experience in architecture design and container management (Kubernetes or OpenShift). Comfortable working across departments and countries. Experience with multiple cloud platforms. Experience in modernization projects is a plus. Requisitos mínimos Formación Profesional o de Ingeniería Técnica o Superior Industrial, Telecomunicaciones o Informática. Valorable certificación AVEVA (Arquestra, wonderware). Experiencia laboral previa en posiciones similares: Ingeniería de Sistemas, Virtualización, Elementos de Red (Elementos Hirchsmann), TCP/IP, sistemas de Backup, sector de Sistemas orientados a Sistemas de automatización SCADA, PLC´s cableado / programación, entorno Wonderware o AVEVA. De interés especial: experiencia / conocimientos conocimientos en Sistemas de Transporte Inteligente (ITS). Interesante conocimientos de ámbitos de ciberseguridad OT. Inglés a valorar. Descripción Buscamos especialista en Administración de Sistemas (Virtualización, Redes, Electrónica de Red Hirschmann...). + Que provenga necesariamente del ámbito de la Ingeniería con trabajos tipo PLC´s, sistemas tipo SCADA / entorno Wonderware o AVEVA... Proyecto altamente estable y orientado al trabajo con Sistemas de Transporte Inteligente (ITS). Formato Presencial en oficinas de Cornellá. Funciones: Soporte y Gestión diaria con el cliente y proveedores en Gestión de Sistemas propios y con conocimiento de tecnologías propias de terceros del sector para ofrecer las mejores soluciones posibles: Sector ITS / Transporte Inteligente. Elementos de Tráfico urbano (con todo tipo de señalizaciones), interurbano (paneles, cámaras...), alumbrado, Smart City, o sistemas Públicos en general. Elaboración de presupuestos de mejora Integración de sistemas de tráfico . Diseño y configuración de redes, protocolos de comunicaciones, redes TCP/IP (switches, routers, firewalls...) de distintos fabricantes Sistemas y aplicaciones de back up. Aplicaciones de monitorización de red. Conocimiento de entornos SCADA Wonderware. Gestión avanzada de entornos de virtualización. (VMware, Proxmox, Hyper-V...)
