    Job description: We are seeking a Software Quality Automation Manager to join our Quality Assurance team at SIX Services in Spain. This role requires a hands-on approach to developing test automation scripts and frameworks while providing oversight on test management activities to ensure the delivery of high-quality software. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in test automation, actively coding and implementing solutions, while also bringing experience in test management practices and being fluent in English and Spanish. What You Bring Advanced Automation Skills: Proven expertise in test automation, including GUI, API, and MQ automation. Skilled in coding automation scripts, primarily using Selenium, Cucumber/Gherkin, and Java. Expertise in Cucumber DSL: Ability to define test cases using Cucumber DSL to enhance readability and streamline test automation efforts. Deployment and Architecture Familiarity: Knowledge of the Test Automation Suite architecture, including integration with JIRA (XRay), GitLab CI, OpenShift, and MS-SQL Database. Hands-On Knowledge of CI/CD Tools: Experience in configuring and managing GitLab CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments, particularly with integration to JIRA and GitLab runners on OpenShift. Proficiency in Test Data Management: Strong understanding of test data management practices to ensure accurate, reusable, and secure data for automated testing. Solid Test Management Background: Familiar with managing test processes, tracking progress, and ensuring defect resolution. Excellent Communication Skills: Fluent in English and Spanish, with the ability to work effectively with global teams; German proficiency is a plus. Familiarity with Atlassian Suite: Experienced in using JIRA, Confluence, and other project management tools. What You Will Do Develop and Execute Automated Tests: Write, implement, and maintain automated test scripts across GUI, API, and MQ layers to ensure high-quality releases. Automation Framework Ownership: Actively work within and extend internal test automation framework, ensuring scalability, reusability, and efficiency in testing processes. Drive Test Automation Strategy: Take the lead in defining and executing automation strategies, aligning with project requirements and organizational goals. Collaborate on Test Management: Coordinate test phases, track test progress, and manage defect resolution alongside automation efforts. Direct Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with cross-functional teams across multiple locations to align on quality goals, drive automated processes, and manage risks.
