Job Description As a Senior Applications Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building and operating applications, components and services that will range from big data technologies, distributed computing, storage replication to highly efficient data planes, to serve life science customers and advance patient care. You will have the opportunity to work on both architecturally broad and deep software systems engineering problems. You will own development of new components and features, from initial concepts through design, implementation, test, and operation. Responsibilities Responsibilities include: Work with cross-functional team members from Architecture, Product Strategy & Development, QA (Quality Assurance), Support & Services, and other Central teams to architect and design multiple products. Work with the team to document designs. Implement high quality code, review code written by your peers. Write test automation for your code. Share responsibility with other team members to deploy new code to production. Work with the team to operate services that you have developed. Qualifications: BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent degree. 4+ years' experience in the design and implementation of complex software systems. Proven experience with a major Object-Oriented Programming language such as Java or C++. Understanding of data structures and design patterns. Experience with RESTful Web Services or cloud platforms such as OCI, AWS, Azure or Google Cloud. Experience working with large data systems such as Data Lakes and Relational Databases at scale. Aptitude for problem solving. Experience with massively scalable systems is a plus. Experience working with healthcare systems or medical data is a plus. Work independently to deliver and maintain features. About the team Amazon Business Cart charter is the guardian of the business experience from High Upsell Page, through Cart main page, until Checkout. We own AB unique features as Request for Quote in Cart (RQS) in Japan. AB Cart also owns AB experience of Everywhere Cart (EWC), High Upsell Cart (HUC) page, related widgets and their intake requests. AB Cart relays on Cart-Purchase-Experience (CPX) architecture which implies working as 'away-team' over Retail's existing. For promoting developments' speed, independency and quality, we graduate Trusted Engineers (TE) to be entitled to approve designs and code in Cart on behalf of CPX. We build AB specific services when required as RQS- our tier-2 service. We own end-to-end business Cart experience including onboarding process for all AB teams. We partner with more than 10 teams as Pricing, List, ESI, Search, DPX, Navigation, SmartWagon or P13N. Sr. Software Development Engineers (SDEIIIs) oversees and secure the technical strategy, design and quality of this space. Como Programador/a Java Microservicios, serás responsable de desarrollar e implementar soluciones utilizando tecnologías como Java, SpringBoot y Kafka. Colaborarás con un equipo multidisciplinario en la creación de microservicios escalables y eficientes. Además, trabajarás con bases de datos relacionales y no relacionales, ¡y mucho más! Requisitos Mínimos IMPRESCINDIBLE: Experiencia como Programador Back o Full Stack. Dominio en Microservicios. Conocimiento en Java (versiones 8, 11, 17). Experiencia con SpringBoot 3. Familiaridad con Kafka. Experiencia en DevOps. Manejo de Bases de datos relacionales y no relacionales. Conocimiento de Apache Flink. Requisitos Deseables Sabemos que no todos dominamos todo, pero aquí hay algunos extras que serán muy apreciados: Conocimiento de Confluence. Experiencia con Jira y SonarQube.
