Our goal is to build and maintain a cloud ready software using the latest technologies: Java Spring Boot, Angular, APIs (Kong), OCP4, Kafka, ArgoCD, VAULT, MS SQL Server Cluster, Cloduera Cluster (Kudu, HDFS and Spark), Gitlab, JFrog Artifactory You will act as a platform architect and you will cooperate with our software architects, software, DevOps and Cloudera engineers. Role: Platform Architect What You Will Do Act as a Platform Architect. Design and manage OCP namespaces, also Microservices Architecture with Patterns & S.O.L.I.D. Principles Ensuring correct implementation in components connectivity. Always putting on eye in security, resilience and costs. Spread DevOps standards and strategies to across the teams. Support in the analysis of functional requirements to bring them to detailed technical specifications. What You Bring Capability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and excellent analytical skills both in English and Spanish verbal and written. More 10 years work experience of IT in general/ 5+ years of working as an Architect Actively shape and establish enterprise architecture skills and ways of working across teams. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud-based IT architectures in alignment with the company's transition to a microservices/event-driven model. Collaborate with Architecture, Development, and Product Management teams to outline technology and architecture roadmaps, steering the evolution towards a cloud-native SaaS solution. Serve as the 'glue' between business and technology teams, defining requirements and ensuring alignment with overarching architecture goals and principles within an Agile framework. Mentor fellow fadatians in technology and architecture principles adoption, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation. Remain at the forefront of technological evolution, guiding software architects, development teams, and professional services teams in adopting new technologies while upholding quality standards expected in an insurance industry SaaS solution. Engage with stakeholders ranging from C-Level executives to development, architecture, and business teams, both internally and externally with clients, demonstrating excellent communication skills and adaptability to diverse audiences. WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE Core skills: Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent. Proven experience in system design, architecture, and development. Demonstrated track record of successfully leading and delivering complex architecture. Expertise in cloud technologies and programming languages (Java, JavaScript & PL/SQL preferred). In-depth knowledge of architectural principles and design patterns. Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and inspire technical teams. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to make decisions considering both technical and business implications. Availability to travel. Preferred skills: Experience in insurance business and/or insurance tools.
